🤖 CPU

The Xiaomi 15T`s processor is the Mediatek Dimensity 8400-Ultra (4 nm). This octa-core chip uses a 3.25 GHz Cortex-A725 prime core (plus 3x3.0 GHz and 4x2.1 GHz Cortex-A725 cores) and a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. In practical terms, it`s a step up from the Xiaomi 14T`s Dimensity 8300-Ultra, offering higher clocks and newer cores for smoother performance and better energy efficiency. However, it does not match the flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Elite used in the vanilla Xiaomi 15. Thus the 15T handles demanding tasks and games very well for its class, but the Xiaomi 15 (with Snapdragon) remains faster in raw benchmarks.

📸 Camera

The 15T features a Leica-tuned triple camera system: 50 MP f/1.7 wide, 50 MP f/1.9 telephoto (46 mm, ~2x optical zoom), and 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide. This is nearly identical to the 14T`s setup (which also had 50 MP wide, 50 MP tele, and 12 MP ultra), except the 15T adds improved processing. Compared to the Xiaomi 15`s flagship cameras, the 15T drops from a 50 MP ultrawide to 12 MP and shortens its telephoto (the 15 had a 3x (60 mm) tele zoom). In practice, the 15T`s main and tele lenses still capture very detailed images (both have OIS), but it won`t match the wider zoom or higher-res ultrawide of the full 15. The 32 MP front camera is unchanged and capable of 4K video. Overall, imaging on the 15T should be excellent – with Leica optics and an updated sensor – even if its zoom range and low-light capture are a notch below the flagship 15`s.

💿 Memory & Storage

The Xiaomi 15T comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. This matches the high end of the 14T (which also offered 16 GB/512 GB), but unlike the vanilla 15 models, the 15T does not offer 16 GB or 1 TB options. (By comparison, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro can be configured up to 16 GB/1 TB.) In day-to-day use, 12 GB and 512 GB are ample for multitasking and large media collections. The lack of expansion (no microSD slot) is consistent with other 15-series phones.

📱 Display

The 15T`s display is a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED with a 2772x1280 resolution (~447 ppi) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is the same panel used by the 15T Pro. Peak brightness is very high (up to 3200 nits) and it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. This screen is larger and higher-resolution than the Xiaomi 15`s 6.36-inch 2670x1200 display, and slightly larger than the 14T`s 6.67-inch 1220x2712 144 Hz panel (though that phone had a higher 144 Hz rate). In practice the 15T`s screen should look vibrant and smooth, with excellent outdoor visibility thanks to its extreme brightness.

🔋 Battery

The battery in the 15T is a 5500 mAh unit, larger than the Xiaomi 15`s 5400 mAh battery and the 14T`s 5000 mAh. It charges via USB-C at up to 67 W wired (to 50% in ~50 minutes) but lacks any wireless charging. By comparison, the 15-series flagships support 90 W wired (and 50 W wireless), and the 14T Pro had an even faster 120 W wired. The 15T`s slightly slower charging is a tradeoff, but the large battery means very long run times – users should easily get all-day use on a single charge.

🤖 CPU

The Xiaomi 15T Pro`s processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (3 nm). This is an octa-core chip with a 3.73 GHz Cortex-X925 prime core, three Cortex-X4 cores at 3.3 GHz, and four Cortex-A720 cores at 2.4 GHz, plus an Immortalis-G925 GPU. It`s a direct upgrade over the Dimensity 9300+ in the 14T Pro, giving higher clock speeds and improved efficiency. In real terms, this brings the 15T Pro`s performance very close to the Xiaomi 15 Pro`s Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Snapdragon 8 Elite still has a slight edge in raw power, but the Dimensity 9400+ in day-to-day use should feel just as snappy. In short, the 15T Pro offers flagship-level CPU/GPU speed, outperforming most other mid-rangers (and beating last year`s 14T Pro).

📸 Camera

The Xiaomi 15T Pro`s cameras are essentially the same triple-50MP system as the 15 Pro, co-engineered with Leica. It uses a 50 MP f/1.6 wide sensor (with 1.2 μm pixels), a 50 MP periscope telephoto (f/3.0, 5x optical zoom, OIS), and a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide. This gives it identical zoom capability to the 15 Pro (whose telephoto is also 5x). The main camera aperture is slightly smaller than the 15 Pro`s f/1.4 unit, so it may capture a bit less light in dark scenes. The 12 MP ultrawide is lower resolution than the 15 Pro`s 50 MP ultrawide, meaning wide-angle shots will have less detail. Compared to the 14T Pro (which had a 60 mm (~2x) telephoto) this is a huge upgrade: the 15T Pro finally brings a true 5x periscope zoomtechradar.com to Xiaomi`s midrange line. Both main and tele lenses have OIS. Video is very capable as well: up to 8K at 30 fps and 4K up to 120 fps are supported, matching the 15 Pro`s specs and exceeding the 14T Pro. In summary, the 15T Pro`s imaging hardware is nearly flagship-grade (especially in telephoto reach), only slightly trimmed on the ultrawide and wide-aperture side relative to the full Xiaomi 15 Pro.

💿 Memory & Storage

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is offered with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and three storage options: 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1. This mirrors the high-end capacity of the 15 Pro (which also goes up to 16 GB/1 TB) and matches the 14T Pro`s top config (16 GB/1 TB). In practice, the 15T Pro`s 12 GB/1 TB max spec is already very generous. Like other 15-series models, it does not support expandable storage. The very fast UFS 4.1 storage ensures quick load times and app responsiveness, on par with the flagship tier.

📱 Display

The 15T Pro uses a 6.83-inch AMOLED display at 2772x1280 resolution and 144 Hz refresh, identical in size and resolution to the standard 15T. This is a flat ‘eye-care’ panel with Gorilla Glass Victus (as noted on the Xiaomi spec page). The screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and reaches up to 3200 nits peak brightness. This is slightly larger but lower resolution than the Xiaomi 15 Pro`s 6.73-inch 1440x3200 LTPO display. It is also bigger and sharper than the 14T Pro`s 6.67-inch 1220x2712 panel. The net effect is a very bright, smooth display (144 Hz) that should offer excellent clarity and motion handling.

🔋 Battery

The battery in the 15T Pro is 5500 mAh (same as the 15T). It supports 90 W wired charging and 50 W wireless. This is a bit smaller than the Xiaomi 15 Pro`s 6100 mAh cell, but the 15T Pro does add wireless charging which the 15T lacks. Compared to the 14T Pro`s 5000 mAh battery (which charged at 120 W), the 15T Pro has more capacity though a slightly slower maximum wired speed (90 W vs 120 W). In everyday use, the 15T Pro should easily last a full day of mixed usage on one charge. Thanks to 90 W HyperCharge, it can go from 0 % to full in well under 40 minutes.
